The guide

Overview

Among Us Bike Race is an online HTML5 game. With the development of science and technology, more and more robots begin to resist human rule and oppression, and terrible wars will erupt between humans and robots. Robots not only have the appearance and wisdom of humans but also have the ability to imitate human words and deeds. They even held a cross-country motorcycle race belonging to robots and named this race Among Us Bike Race. The robots ride motorcycles over various obstacles and collect gold coins and diamonds. Their development model is very similar to that of humans. It is almost difficult to tell which is a robot and which is an ordinary human.

What it's like to play

Racing games start with a countdown and a line of opponents, and from there it is all about the next corner. You accelerate, brake a fraction late, drift wide, recover. Position changes constantly. A single race takes two or three minutes, and a session is usually a run of them, each one a slightly cleaner line than the last. The finish line arrives before you are ready for it.

How to play

1Check the controls on the start screen. Arrow keys or WASD steer and accelerate on desktop; tilt or on-screen pedals on phones.
2Brake before a corner, not in it, and turn in smoothly. Jerky steering costs more time than slow entry speed.
3Follow the racing line the other cars take on your first lap, then start cutting it closer.
4Use boosts on straights where you can hold them, not mid-corner where you will lose control.

Why it's worth a go

Among Us Bike Race is a clean hit of speed with no setup. It runs free in a browser tab, needs no download or login, and a race lasts a few minutes. The learning curve is gentle at first and gets steep, which keeps a session interesting well past the first few races.
