Overview

Among Us is a 2018 online multiplayer social deduction game developed and published by American game studio Innersloth. The game was inspired by the party game Mafia and the science fiction horror film The Thing. Prepare for departure but beware the Impostor. Play with 4-15 players online or via local WiFi as you attempt to hold your spaceship together and survive, but be careful. One or more random players among the crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone.

What it's like to play

You start somewhere unfamiliar with a vague goal and not much else. An adventure game fills in the rest as you go: a path that opens when you find the right item, a character who tells you where to look, a platform that was there all along if you had thought to jump. Sessions are built from small discoveries, and the best ones stay with you.

How to play

1Spend the first minute exploring without a goal. Note exits, objects and anyone standing around.
