The guide

Overview

When you're already dead, showing kindness and hesitating to act is the same as dying. Continue to fire without stopping until there are no more zombies in your line of sight. There is only one thing left to do, and that is to keep firing while at the same time putting out flames and continuously collecting new ammo. A significant number of individuals were able to escape the city without being injured. Given that you are not a heroic figure, you will require their aid in order to successfully escape the city. Locate these individuals, form an alliance with them in order to survive the end of the world, and then engage in combat. The search for food, weapons, and DNA supplements is essential; but, the search for other supplies such as fuel, first aid supplies, generators, and so on may be a great boon to your chances of survival and quality of life.

What it's like to play

Shooting games are about aim and timing, and not much else gets in the way. Targets appear, you point and fire, they disappear or they shoot back. Ammo matters. Position matters. Some games are side-on with waves of enemies, others put the crosshair in the middle of the screen. Either way, a session is a steady escalation until your reflexes run out.

How to play

1Find the fire and aim controls on the start screen; usually the mouse aims and clicks fire on desktop, and tapping the target fires on phones.
2Shoot the nearest or fastest threat first, not the biggest. Big targets usually take several hits anyway.
3Reload or switch weapons during quiet moments rather than in the middle of a wave.
4Keep moving if the game allows it. A stationary player is the easiest target in any shooter.

Why it's worth a go

Among Us Gun War Multiplayer is a sharp, focused test of aim that runs free in the browser with no download or login. Sessions are short and intense. It is a good way to spend ten minutes if you want something that pushes back, and there is nothing to clean up when you are done.
