The guide

Overview

Go to the party with the aristocratic cats. There will be everything: a lot of people, delicious treats, great music and fun. However, one evil, the journalist decided to spoil the holiday. He snuck into the party and took pictures of its visitors. As a result, the party turned into a colorless picture, disintegrated into small pieces. Help the cats to restore the brightness and integrity of their evening and continue to have fun at the party. Arrange the details of the image in their places. There is no time limit for completing this task. So you can take your time and calmly restore the image. To assemble the image, use the mouse. Click on the red button on the screen to see the next item. Then drag it to the desired location on the screen. If everything is correct, the part is fixed.

What it's like to play

The best moment in any puzzle game is the one just after you have been stuck. You have tried the obvious moves, nothing worked, and then you spot the thing you overlooked. The whole board resolves in a few quick taps. Sessions are built from a string of those moments, separated by stretches of quiet staring. It is slow in a good way.

How to play

1Identify the goal first. Look for a target, counter or outline that tells you what a finished stage looks like.
2Make a move you can reverse, then see how the board reacts. Most puzzles let you undo or restart freely.
3Group similar pieces or clear blockers early so you have room to work later in the stage.
4When you solve a stage, note what the trick was; the next few stages will usually build on it.

Why it's worth a go

Because it fits into the gaps. Aristocats Jigsaw Puzzle Collection does not need a download or a login, and a stage takes about as long as waiting for a kettle. It is also one of the few kinds of game that leaves you feeling slightly sharper rather than drained.
