The guide

Overview

Dive into the cosmic chaos of Black Holes, where speed and strategy collide. Navigate a stone through the mesmerizing depths of space, aiming to hit your moving target. With every swift maneuver, master your reflexes for a higher score. Stunning visuals and adrenaline-pumping gameplay ensure an unforgettable journey.

You start somewhere unfamiliar with a vague goal and not much else. An adventure game fills in the rest as you go: a path that opens when you find the right item, a character who tells you where to look, a platform that was there all along if you had thought to jump. Sessions are built from small discoveries, and the best ones stay with you.

How to play

1Spend the first minute exploring without a goal. Note exits, objects and anyone standing around.
2Interact with characters by walking up to them and pressing the action key or tapping. They often hand out clues.
3Collect items as you find them. Most adventures will not let you pick up something you do not eventually need.
4When a puzzle stumps you, read your inventory and the scene again. The combination is usually closer than it seems.

Why it's worth a go

There is a particular pleasure in finally understanding what a place is asking of you, and Black Holes delivers that without any cost or setup. No download, no account, just a Play button. It suits an evening more than a bus ride, but you can leave and return.

Who it's for

Suits curious players from about ten years old upward, including adults who prefer thinking to twitch reflexes. People who enjoy puzzles with a bit of story attached will get the most from it.
