The guide

Overview

Clan Samurai is a small and funny game. The difficulty of the game is also quite high and requires many challenges, with a variety of weapons emitting continuously, you must overcome them quickly. Become a high-class samurai.

What it's like to play

Aim matters, but so does knowing where to look. Shooting games reward players who watch the whole screen and prioritise. Which enemy is closest, which one is about to fire, which pickup is worth the detour. The trigger is the easy part. Sessions run through waves or stages of mounting pressure, and when they end, usually suddenly, you have a score and a good idea of what to do differently.

How to play

1Learn the fire control and, if there is one, the movement control before the first wave arrives.
2Scan the edges of the screen regularly. New enemies tend to appear there.
3Fire in short bursts at a single target until it drops, then switch. Spraying wastes ammo.
4Use any special weapon or bomb when the screen is crowded, not when it is nearly clear.
