The guide

Overview

War is here. The most skilled soldiers were chosen to fight in one of the two teams. On one side, the blue team. This team is fighting for peace and democracy. They want this war to end. However, the red team... These guys want the exact opposite, so they are provoking the blue team to constant fights where many soldiers have already died. Will this war ever end? Maps like Inferno, Dust, Aztec... what game do these maps remind you? No clue? Counter-Strike, of course. Now, you can sharpen your shooting skills and face players from all over the world in remade maps from one of the most played PC games up to this date. Feel that competitive spirit. Battle royal map ready. Take down all enemies and dominate the game. Have fun.

What it's like to play

Multiplayer games put another person in the picture, and that changes everything. A computer opponent is predictable once you learn it. A human is not. Sessions here are rounds against someone else, whether that is a friend on the same keyboard, a stranger matched online, or players taking turns. Matches are short, outcomes are uncertain, and the urge to go again after a close loss is strong.

How to play

1Look at the start screen for the mode options, such as two players on one keyboard, online matchmaking, or pass and play.
2Learn your controls before the match starts. Shared-keyboard games typically give one player WASD and the other the arrow keys.
3Watch your opponent rather than your own character. Reading their movement is what wins close rounds.
4After a round, check the score and go again. Most multiplayer games are best of several.

Why it's worth a go

Combat Strike Multiplayer is more fun with someone else, and it makes that easy. There is no account, no download, and nothing to configure. Open the tab, pick a mode, play. Matches are short enough that a few rounds fit comfortably into a break, and a rematch is always one tap away.
