The guide

Overview

Dinosaurs are ancient and powerful creatures. They lived on Earth long before the advent of mankind. These powerful titans were of enormous size and very diverse species: triceratops, Tyrannosaurs, allosaurs, iguanodons, diplodocs, and others. Some of them were herbivores, but some of them fed on the flesh. In the game "Puzzle Dinosaurs", you can slightly expand your knowledge of dinosaurs, adding puzzles with different types of them. You need to drag the puzzle elements onto the field. When the picture is folded, you can go to the next level, where you will be waiting for a new dinosaur. This game will open for you the wild world of ancient reptiles. Have a nice game.

What it's like to play

The best moment in any puzzle game is the one just after you have been stuck. You have tried the obvious moves, nothing worked, and then you spot the thing you overlooked. The whole board resolves in a few quick taps. Sessions are built from a string of those moments, separated by stretches of quiet staring. It is slow in a good way.

How to play

1Identify the goal first. Look for a target, counter or outline that tells you what a finished stage looks like.
2Make a move you can reverse, then see how the board reacts. Most puzzles let you undo or restart freely.
3Group similar pieces or clear blockers early so you have room to work later in the stage.
4When you solve a stage, note what the trick was; the next few stages will usually build on it.

Why it's worth a go

Because it fits into the gaps. Dinosaurs Jigsaw Puzzle Collection does not need a download or a login, and a stage takes about as long as waiting for a kettle. It is also one of the few kinds of game that leaves you feeling slightly sharper rather than drained.
