Drive Mad 2

Rev up for the ultimate 3D driving frenzy in Drive Mad 2. Navigate bizarre and treacherous tracks filled with wild obstacles. Master quick reflexes, collect nitro boosts, and drift like a pro to kick up the speed. Can you conquer the chaos and finish first?

Racing games start with a countdown and a line of opponents, and from there it is all about the next corner. You accelerate, brake a fraction late, drift wide, recover. Position changes constantly. A single race takes two or three minutes, and a session is usually a run of them, each one a slightly cleaner line than the last. The finish line arrives before you are ready for it.

• Mouse to aim, click to act
• Arrow keys or WASD to move; Space to jump or confirm
• Press Escape or the exit button to leave the full-screen player

1. 1Check the controls on the start screen. Arrow keys or WASD steer and accelerate on desktop; tilt or on-screen pedals on phones.
2. 2Brake before a corner, not in it, and turn in smoothly. Jerky steering costs more time than slow entry speed.
3. 3Follow the racing line the other cars take on your first lap, then start cutting it closer.
4. 4Use boosts on straights where you can hold them, not mid-corner where you will lose control.

• Free to play, nothing to install, no account needed

Drive Mad 2 is a clean hit of speed with no setup. It runs free in a browser tab, needs no download or login, and a race lasts a few minutes. The learning curve is gentle at first and gets steep, which keeps a session interesting well past the first few races.

Suits anyone who likes cars and speed, from children who can steer with arrow keys to adults chasing a lap time. Fans of kart racers and arcade driving games will feel at home.

What are the controls in Drive Mad 2?

Usually arrow keys or WASD on desktop, with space or shift for boost or brake. On phones, on-screen buttons or tilt steering. The start screen lists the bindings.

Can I play on a phone?

Yes. Most racing games here include touch controls. A tablet gives a bit more room for the on-screen pedals and steering.

Does it save my unlocked cars or tracks?

Often, in your browser on the same device. There is no account, so progress does not carry to another phone or computer.
