What are the controls in Evil Dictatorship?

Mostly tap or click to select and drag to move or serve. Some driving or flying sims use the arrow keys or tilt. The opening prompts explain them.

Can I play on a phone?

Yes. Simulation games translate well to touch. A tablet gives more room to see the whole farm, shop or map, but phones work.

Some simulation games have a final goal or a set number of days. Many are open ended and simply keep growing. The description on the game page will indicate which.

Running a virtual farm or a busy diner is strangely absorbing. Simulation games hand you a small system and let you grow it. Early sessions are about learning what each button does and where the money comes from. Later ones are about optimising: shaving seconds off an order, planting in the right order, placing a building where it earns most. The pace is set by you and by the clock inside the game.

How to play

1Start with the tutorial prompts, which show the main actions: tap to collect, drag to serve, click to build.
2Learn the order of operations for one full cycle, such as plant, water, harvest, sell.
3Reinvest early earnings into upgrades that remove bottlenecks rather than cosmetics.
4Watch for timers and queues, and act on the longest wait first.

Why it's worth a go

Evil Dictatorship is calm, steady and a little addictive. It runs free in a browser tab with nothing to install or sign up for. Progress is visible and gradual, and it is easy to play for ten minutes or an hour depending on how the day is going.

Who it's for

Suits players who like managing and growing things rather than fighting. Adults who enjoy tycoon or farm games and older children who like building will both find plenty here. Works well on tablets.
