The guide

Overview

Embark on a serene quest in Find the Amount, where leisure meets arithmetic intrigue. Strategically select numbers to reach target sums, clearing blocks and elevating your score. As the difficulty rises, enjoy a soothing atmosphere while challenging your mathematical prowess and enhancing your strategic planning skills.

Ask a seven-year-old what they want from a game and the answer is usually a character, some stuff to collect, and a bit of a challenge. Junior games deliver exactly that, scaled gently. Stages are short. Obstacles are slow. Puzzles have one or two steps. A session is a sequence of small successes, with a star rating or a score to show for it.

How to play

1Read or listen to the stage goal, then look at the layout for the items to collect and the exit to reach.
2Use arrow keys or on-screen buttons to move, and tap or press space for jumps and actions.
3Collect items in a path rather than zigzagging; it keeps the stage short and the rating high.
4Finish the stage, check your stars, and move on or replay.
