The guide

Overview

Explore the Elemental Temples in Fireboy and Watergirl 5 (by Oslo Albet). Solve many puzzles, collect all the diamonds and beat the time. Fireboy and Watergirl Elements is a completely new game with lots of new elements. Travel to all temples in the Fireboy Watergirl series. Enter the new Fire Temple, The Forest Temple, The Ice Temple, The Light Temple, The Wind Temple and The Crystal Temple. In FBWG5 you can play the adventure alone or with a friend. Reach the exit safely.

What it's like to play

You start somewhere unfamiliar with a vague goal and not much else. An adventure game fills in the rest as you go: a path that opens when you find the right item, a character who tells you where to look, a platform that was there all along if you had thought to jump. Sessions are built from small discoveries, and the best ones stay with you.

How to play

1Spend the first minute exploring without a goal. Note exits, objects and anyone standing around.
2Interact with characters by walking up to them and pressing the action key or tapping. They often hand out clues.
3Collect items as you find them. Most adventures will not let you pick up something you do not eventually need.
4When a puzzle stumps you, read your inventory and the scene again. The combination is usually closer than it seems.
