Can I play Flying Comet with a mouse only?

On desktop, yes. Nearly everything in simulation games is click and drag. On a phone or tablet, tap and drag do the same job.

What should I upgrade first?

Anything that shortens the main loop: faster movement, more stations, quicker production. Appearance upgrades can wait.

Is it suitable for children?

Generally yes. Simulation games are gentle and non-violent. Younger children may need help reading menus, but running a pretend shop or farm is appealing to most.

More to play

24 games

Build, wait, collect, expand. Simulation games run on this cycle and dress it in whatever theme suits: a bakery, a transport network, a zoo, a garage. The appeal is incremental. Each session leaves the operation slightly bigger and slightly better organised than before. There is no enemy. The only pressure is a queue of customers or a clock, and both are more fun than they sound.

How to play

1Read the opening prompts, which show the single action that starts the economy, such as planting or serving.
2Complete one full cycle slowly to understand the timing, then speed up.
3Spend on upgrades that shorten the cycle before spending on expansion.
4Check the goals or tasks panel if the game has one; it points you toward useful next steps.

Why it's worth a go

Flying Comet rewards tinkering without punishing it. It is free, runs in the browser with no download or account, and a session can be as short as one in-game day or as long as an evening. Progress tends to stay in your browser on the same device between visits.

Who it's for

Suits players who like to build and optimise at their own pace, from older children through adults. Fans of tycoon, farming and cooking sims will feel at home. Patience helps more than reflexes.
