The guide

Overview

In the game "Follow the Line 2" you have to demonstrate the wonders of agility and quick reactions. At the start, a ball will be waiting for you, which you will control. He will rapidly fly forward, and your task is to maneuver him among the numerous obstacles and cunning traps. This game will not only test your agility, but also the lightning speed of your reaction. At first, the traps will be very simple and it will be very easy to dodge, but that's the way it was intended. As soon as you relax, you will suddenly come across some complex and tricky obstacle, which is not so easy to get around. Be attentive and try to move around the playing field dexterously. You can play over and over again to improve your highscore and beat yourself. Have a good game.

What it's like to play

Sit down with a puzzle game and the first few minutes are about learning its particular logic. Which tiles merge, which paths connect, what counts as a match. Once you have it, the game becomes a series of small, satisfying problems. Some are solved in seconds. Others need you to undo, rethink and try a completely different order. The pace is yours to set.

How to play

1Watch what happens on the first stage carefully; the game teaches its rules through the layout rather than a wall of text.
2Tap or click the object you want to move, then tap its destination. Swipes also work in most tile and block puzzles.
3Look for chain reactions, where one move clears space that makes the next move possible.
4Before using your last move or piece, check the board again for anything you missed.

Why it's worth a go

It costs nothing and asks nothing of you except a few minutes of attention. Follow Line works well as a mental reset between tasks, and because it runs in the browser with no download you can play on whatever device is nearest. Stages are short enough to stop at any point.
