The guide

Overview

The fun winter obstacle course is about to begin. For winning it is more important to know when to stop than to run fast. Because once you are touched by the obstacles you will fall behind your opponent. It's hard to catch up after falling behind. So stopping is very important, mastering the rhythm is the key to victory.

More to play

24 games

Fast hands help, but pattern recognition wins. An action game shows you an enemy, lets you get hit once, and expects you to learn from it. Over a session you build a library of tells: this one lunges, that one shoots on a count of three. Stages are short, health is precious, and the boss at the end of a section is where everything you learned gets tested.

How to play

1Learn to move and attack on the first screen, then deliberately watch the first enemy attack once before fighting back.
2Dodge toward open space, never toward a wall, and keep your back clear of other enemies.
3Alternate attacking with short retreats. Constant offence drains your health faster than anything else.
4Before a boss, collect every pickup on the stage. You will need the margin.

Why it's worth a go

Fun Race On Ice - Fun & Run 3D Game delivers a proper fight with no setup. It is free, runs in the browser, and needs no download or account. Stages are tight and sessions are short enough to play in a break, long enough to feel like you did something.

Who it's for
