Most casual games follow the same gentle loop. A stage appears, you poke at it, something satisfying happens, and the next stage is a little busier. Nothing moves faster than you can follow. There is time to notice the small animations and the sounds that reward a good move. A session is less about winning and more about a steady drip of small, pleasant feedback.
Green and Red is forgiving and free. It runs in a browser tab with nothing to install, which makes it easy to try and just as easy to drop. The gentle difficulty curve means you keep making progress, and the short stages suit a few idle minutes.
Anyone looking for a calm way to pass time. It fits phone users especially well, and younger children can usually manage the early stages alone. Adults who want to switch off will find it undemanding.
