The guide

Overview

Gun Mayhem is a high octane arena style versus game. Battle with or against AI and friends alike in this cartoony platform shooter. - Supports up to 4 players at once - Utilize over 60 different firearms - 12 diverse maps to fight on - 4 unique gameplay modes: Last Man Standing, One Shot One Kill, Gun Game and Duck Defense - Campaign mode includes coop option - Customizable characters

Every wave is a question of what to shoot first. Shooting games layer enemies with different speeds, sizes and attack patterns, and the skill is in sorting them under pressure. Early rounds are generous with time. Later rounds are not. Ammo, health and the occasional power-up give you resources to manage alongside your aim. Sessions end when the screen gets too busy, and you restart knowing a little more.

How to play

1Read the controls, then fire a few test shots to learn the range and spread of your weapon.
2Pick off fast, small enemies first. They reach you quickest and are easiest to lose track of.
3Reposition between waves if the game allows movement; standing in the same spot makes you predictable.
4Save bombs or special attacks for emergencies when you are about to take damage.
