The guide

Overview

Navigate a perilous descent in Heavy Ball, where quick reflexes and precise movements are crucial. Avoid deadly spikes and conquer increasingly challenging levels, all while competing for leaderboard supremacy. With intuitive controls and addictive gameplay, test your skills and push your limits in this captivating arcade adventure.

Timing is everything here. An arcade game strips play down to a reflex and then tests it over and over, each time with slightly less margin. You jump a beat early and fall. You jump on the beat and the run continues. Scores climb, music speeds up, and the screen fills with things to avoid. A session is a stack of short attempts, each one a little better than the last.

How to play

1Press Play and spend the first run just watching how fast things move; do not worry about the score yet.
2Use short, deliberate taps or key presses rather than mashing. Most arcade games punish holding a button too long.
3Watch for a rhythm in the obstacles. Once you hear or see the pattern, your inputs will land on their own.
4Chase one small improvement per run, such as surviving ten seconds longer, rather than a new record every time.
