The guide

Overview

Precision and timing are your best allies in HOOPS. Maneuver skillfully as you toss your basketball from hoop to hoop, aiming for direct shots to rack up bonus points. Collect coins along the way to unlock stylish customizations for your ball. Can you master the ultimate high score challenge?

What it's like to play

Scoreboards make everything feel important, and sports games lean on that. A session here is a sequence of short contests, each with a clear result. You learn the timing of a shot or a kick in the first round, tighten it in the second, and start thinking about tactics by the third. Opponents get quicker. The rules stay recognisable. It ends when the bracket does or when you do.

How to play

1Start a match and watch the first few seconds to see how your player or ball responds to input.
2Use drag, swipe or arrow keys to aim, and release or tap to shoot, kick or swing.
3Vary your shots. Opponents in many sports games adapt to repeated patterns.
4Watch the timer and play safe when ahead, take risks when behind.
