The guide

Overview

It’s time to flex the biceps of the wrestlers under the sun of Mexico in Mexican Wrestlers Superstars. Prove to the world that it’s possible to break heads as a job and still to be able to pose for the magazines in this arcade-like game. Test your reflexes and your management ability and become the champion of Mexican Wrestlers. You’re not yet Mister Universe but since you’re not so far from it, you’ll have to pose.

What it's like to play

Fast hands help, but pattern recognition wins. An action game shows you an enemy, lets you get hit once, and expects you to learn from it. Over a session you build a library of tells: this one lunges, that one shoots on a count of three. Stages are short, health is precious, and the boss at the end of a section is where everything you learned gets tested.

Controls

Mexican Wrestlers Superstars is a game of reflexes and management in which you must replicate differents combinations of poses shown on the screen To do this click touch the poses in the right order but be careful if you make a mistake you ll have to

How to play

1Learn to move and attack on the first screen, then deliberately watch the first enemy attack once before fighting back.
2Dodge toward open space, never toward a wall, and keep your back clear of other enemies.
3Alternate attacking with short retreats. Constant offence drains your health faster than anything else.
4Before a boss, collect every pickup on the stage. You will need the margin.
