The guide

Overview

Escape a high-security prison in Obby Barry Prison Run. Navigate complex obstacles, collect essential gasoline cans, and outsmart vigilant guards in this nostalgic pixel art adventure. Carefully plan your path, expertly maneuver through dangers, and reach the helicopter pad for a triumphant victory. Can you make the perfect escape?

What it's like to play

You start somewhere unfamiliar with a vague goal and not much else. An adventure game fills in the rest as you go: a path that opens when you find the right item, a character who tells you where to look, a platform that was there all along if you had thought to jump. Sessions are built from small discoveries, and the best ones stay with you.

How to play

1Spend the first minute exploring without a goal. Note exits, objects and anyone standing around.
2Interact with characters by walking up to them and pressing the action key or tapping. They often hand out clues.
3Collect items as you find them. Most adventures will not let you pick up something you do not eventually need.
4When a puzzle stumps you, read your inventory and the scene again. The combination is usually closer than it seems.
