The guide

Overview

Take the mom you’ll go first and study all the possible combination you could design. Remember, the princesses are caring a baby with them so find a practical outfit, but also a fancy one because it’s in their nature to look dapper all the time. If you like the dress more you should choose to take one or you could look after a mix with a short and a top. The more you try out the better your choice will be so decide on the clothes and then go to the other store where you’ll provide an important piece of your outfit: the shoes. Pick right one and don’t forget to add a matching bag to them so in this way you could finalize your work. Use your abilities in fashion area and put in there some creativity too. Feel free to create two totally different designs that would combine a unique style to define your work. Get a special attire for these pregnant princesses and have fun doing it.

What it's like to play

Dress-up, decorating and styling games make up most of this category, and the sessions have a particular rhythm. You are given a blank canvas, a character or a room or a cake, and a panel of options. You try things on, swap them out, and settle on something you like. There is no timer and rarely a score. The game ends when you are happy with the result.

How to play

1Pick a character, room or project from the start screen, then look for the tabs or icons that open each set of options.
2Tap or click an item to apply it. Most games let you swap it instantly, so try several before deciding.
3Work in order: base layers first, then accessories or details, so later choices sit on top properly.
4Look for a camera or save icon when you are done. Many games let you keep a picture of your creation.

Why it's worth a go

Princesses Mall Shopping is creative rather than competitive. You make something, admire it, and maybe make another. It is free and runs in the browser with nothing to download, so it is easy to open on a phone or tablet and just as easy to put down when you are finished.
