Does Prom Queen Dress Up - High School Rising Star work on a phone?

Yes. Most sports games here use swipe or tap controls that suit a touchscreen. A tablet gives more room to see the whole field or court.

The guide

Overview

Six young female high school students are going to graduate soon. Before they set off to college or university, a big event in on the agenda: the prom night party. What to wear... Since you are a fashion expert with an impeccable sense of style, honed by years of playing dressup and makeovers, you are now their fashion designer and thus in charge of each girl's fate. Who will be elected as the prom queen? You as the owner of the fancy clothing salon decide.

What it's like to play

A football match in a browser game lasts about three minutes and still manages to feel like a match. That is the trick of the genre. Sports games compress the real thing into a few essential inputs, keep the rules recognisable, and let the scoreboard do the rest. Sessions are built from short rounds, and the urge to play one more is strong when you have just lost.

How to play

1Pick a team or player if offered, then start a match and spend the first few seconds learning how your athlete moves.
2Use the arrow keys or on-screen pad to position, and the action button or tap to kick, shoot or swing.
3Time your action to the moment the ball or target is in reach; early or late inputs lose power or direction.
4Watch the clock and score, and change your approach when behind rather than repeating what is not working.

Features

Free to play, nothing to install, no account needed

Plays best with the phone turned sideways or on a wider screen
Mouse and keyboard controls, with touch support on most devices
