The guide

Overview

Up to 4 on-same-screen multiplayer game. (CPU mode available) It’s not because you are stuck in a gigantic pyramid that you shouldn’t be looking for a way to make ends meet. Take control of a small Egyptian with overflowing greed and run at full speed to take possession of all the riches of the pyramid. Play alone against artificial intelligences or play against your friend in this exhilarating party game.

What it's like to play

Multiplayer games put another person in the picture, and that changes everything. A computer opponent is predictable once you learn it. A human is not. Sessions here are rounds against someone else, whether that is a friend on the same keyboard, a stranger matched online, or players taking turns. Matches are short, outcomes are uncertain, and the urge to go again after a close loss is strong.

How to play

1Look at the start screen for the mode options, such as two players on one keyboard, online matchmaking, or pass and play.
2Learn your controls before the match starts. Shared-keyboard games typically give one player WASD and the other the arrow keys.
3Watch your opponent rather than your own character. Reading their movement is what wins close rounds.
4After a round, check the score and go again. Most multiplayer games are best of several.
