Rescue Escape is an action puzzle game where you control stick figures trying to escape from a prison filled with traps. Your mission: guide all the characters past dangerous obstacles and gather them safely at the escape point to open the way out. Each level presents a new challenge—spike traps, moving obstacles, narrow paths, and countless other dangers force you to move skillfully and calculate each step. If just one stick figure gets stuck, the whole group wont be able to escape.

What it's like to play

Reflexes carry you through the first few stages of an action game. After that, you need to read the room. Where the enemies come from, how long an attack animation takes, when to retreat. The pace rarely lets up, and health is always a little scarcer than you would like. Sessions are tense in a good way, and victory tends to arrive just as your hands start to ache.
