On desktop, yes. Arrow keys, space bar or WASD are the usual bindings. The game normally shows its controls on the start screen or in a pause menu.

The guide

Overview

Rope Swing is a cool game where you have to use your rope to swing through the levels. There are a lot of great levels that feature many obstacles along the way. Make sure to not fall into spikes or gaps and try not to hit one of the many obstacles that you'll face along the way. Swing and bounce your way through the level, and make sure to collect coins

What it's like to play

Timing is everything here. An arcade game strips play down to a reflex and then tests it over and over, each time with slightly less margin. You jump a beat early and fall. You jump on the beat and the run continues. Scores climb, music speeds up, and the screen fills with things to avoid. A session is a stack of short attempts, each one a little better than the last.

How to play

1Press Play and spend the first run just watching how fast things move; do not worry about the score yet.
2Use short, deliberate taps or key presses rather than mashing. Most arcade games punish holding a button too long.
3Watch for a rhythm in the obstacles. Once you hear or see the pattern, your inputs will land on their own.
4Chase one small improvement per run, such as surviving ten seconds longer, rather than a new record every time.
