The guide

Overview

It's time to go fast... Really fast. Today you will experience what it's like to be the one and only Sanic. In this endless rolling game you will put your skills to the test by going all the way down in a city filled skyscrapers where only the masters of players can survive. But be aware of the platforms as they get harder after each level. Do you think you can make it? Also don't forget to pick up boost pads to make the jumps and avoid obstacles along the course at all costs. Collect many rings to buy cool new characters too. Good luck Sanic, gotta go fast.

What it's like to play

Half the fun is the restart button. In an arcade game you are never more than one tap from another go, and the game knows that. It ends your run abruptly, shows your score next to your best, and waits. Sessions are made of these loops. The rules stay simple but the pace keeps shifting, so what felt impossible on the first attempt feels routine by the tenth.

How to play

1Tap or click once to start and once more to jump, flap, or fire. If a direction is needed, swipe or use the arrow keys.
2Lead your movement slightly. Obstacles arrive faster than they appear to, so act when they are still a little way off.
3Treat bonuses as optional. A bonus you could not reach safely was never a bonus.
4Pay attention to the score screen between runs. It often shows what you did better or worse than last time.
