The guide

Overview

The Santa Claus shooting game is one of the most popular activities during winter time. The object for players, whether they're adults or children (and even pets.), are to shoot at targets that appear on screen. The jolly old man, Santa Claus is here to save the day. He can shoot his way through all sorts of obstacles in this fast-paced arcade style game. Move him around using your mouse and use special weapons that he has at his disposal such as snowballs for freezing objects or presents under critters’ noses so they won't be able catch them before it's too late - but watch out because these bad guys are also waiting with their own tactics planned out just for you.

What it's like to play

Crosshairs, targets, and a trigger finger that gets tired before you expect it to. Shooting games here range from fixed-screen target galleries to side-scrolling run-and-gun stages, but the feel is consistent: enemies appear, you react, the score climbs. Pressure builds through numbers rather than complexity. A session is a handful of rounds, each one pushing a bit further before the health bar gives out.

How to play

1Check the start screen for whether the mouse aims or your character moves with the keyboard, since shooters use both styles.
2Aim slightly ahead of moving targets. Most projectiles take a moment to arrive.
3Take cover or retreat when several enemies fire at once; health does not regenerate in most browser shooters.
4Grab weapon or ammo pickups when they drop, especially before a boss or large wave.
