The guide

Overview

In Sausage Flip, you'll be challenged to toss a sausage with googly eyes around an arcade game by dragging your finger or mouse to aim and releasing to shoot. But be careful, the game isn't as straightforward as it seems. You'll have to navigate the sausage through a series of obstacles, including rocket cars, soft blocks, spinning contraptions, and more, all while avoiding falling off the platform. As you play, you'll unlock new skins and costumes to customize your sausage. Invite your friends to join in the fun and see who comes out on top as the ultimate (hot)dog.

What it's like to play

Crosshairs, targets, and a trigger finger that gets tired before you expect it to. Shooting games here range from fixed-screen target galleries to side-scrolling run-and-gun stages, but the feel is consistent: enemies appear, you react, the score climbs. Pressure builds through numbers rather than complexity. A session is a handful of rounds, each one pushing a bit further before the health bar gives out.

How to play

1Check the start screen for whether the mouse aims or your character moves with the keyboard, since shooters use both styles.
2Aim slightly ahead of moving targets. Most projectiles take a moment to arrive.
3Take cover or retreat when several enemies fire at once; health does not regenerate in most browser shooters.
4Grab weapon or ammo pickups when they drop, especially before a boss or large wave.
