Save Your Ex

Dive into a blocky world of chaos and strategy in Save Your Ex. Battle through relentless enemies and cunning traps, using an arsenal of pixelated weapons. Feel the thrill of unexpected twists as you fight to rescue your ex-girlfriend from danger. Can you beat the odds?

Point, fire, move. A shooting game trains those three into a reflex within the first minute, then spends the rest of the session making them harder. Enemies arrive faster, take more hits, and come from angles you did not expect. Ammunition or cooldowns keep you from simply holding the trigger. Rounds are short, and the score at the end is a fair record of how sharp you were.

• Mouse to aim, click to act
• Arrow keys or WASD to move; Space to jump or confirm
• Press Escape or the exit button to leave the full-screen player

1. 1Start a round and fire a few shots at nothing to see your rate of fire and how the aim behaves.
2. 2Prioritise enemies that are about to fire or reach you over those further away.
3. 3Watch your ammo or heat gauge and reload or pause during gaps between waves.
4. 4Learn where enemies spawn from and pre-aim at those points a moment before they appear.

Save Your Ex gives you a clear target and a clear score. It is free, runs in a browser tab with nothing to install, and a round lasts a few minutes. The appeal is the small rush of a clean hit, repeated until your hand gets tired or the waves get the better of you.

Suits teens and adults who like reflex games with a bit of edge. Older children with steady hands can manage the early rounds. Not designed for very young players.

Can I play Save Your Ex on a phone?

Usually yes. Tap to shoot works well on a touchscreen, and many shooters add on-screen movement controls. A mouse is more precise on desktop.

Why does the game feel too fast?

Shooters ramp up quickly. Focus on the nearest threat only and let the rest wait. Difficulty tends to feel more manageable once you stop trying to clear everything at once.

Does it track my high score?

Many shooting games store a best score in your browser on that device. It will not transfer to another device, since there is no account.
