Does Simple Flappy Ball need an internet connection the whole time?

It needs one to load. After that, a short dropout may not interrupt play, but you should not expect it to work fully offline.

Can I replay old stages?

In most casual games, yes. A stage map or menu lets you revisit anything you have cleared, often to improve your rating.

Is it suitable for someone who has never played games?

Very much so. Casual games are built for exactly that person. The first few minutes teach everything needed.

The guide

Overview

Step into the thrilling world of Simple Flappy Ball, where precise timing and quick reflexes are the keys to survival. Control a small, bouncy ball as it maneuvers within a rotating arena filled with dangerous obstacles. The ball must stay in motion, constantly jumping between the inner safe zone and the outer rotating bars. A perfectly timed jump propels the ball outward, while missing a jump causes it to fall toward the center — and colliding with the inner circle or the spinning outer bars ends the game instantly. Challenge yourself to master the delicate balance of flapping to avoid danger while surviving as long as possible in this endl

What it's like to play

People reach for casual games for the same reason they reach for a crossword: to occupy their hands and half their brain for a while. The stages are bright and quick. The goals are clear. There is a satisfying sound when you get something right and a soft one when you do not. A session might be two stages or twenty, and either is fine.

How to play

1Start by tapping anything that moves or glows. The game will show you right away whether that was the intended action.
2Match, stack or sort according to the stage goal, keeping an eye on the move or time counter if one is shown.
3Clear obstacles that block large areas before chasing points; space is worth more than score early on.
4When you finish a stage, glance at the stars or rating and decide whether to replay or move on.

Why it's worth a go

Simple Flappy Ball is the definition of pick-up-and-play. Nothing to install, nothing to sign into, and the controls are tap and swipe. It fills a quiet moment without taking over your evening, and it works just as well on a phone as it does on a bigger screen.
