The guide

Overview

Sink It is a skill game where you have to sink your opponents boat by shooting your cannon. Play by yourself or with a friend either on desktop or mobile. Watch your angle and fire your cannon at the right time. If you hit the water, you will cause a giant wave that will move both you and your opponent, making it more difficult to hit each other. During the match, objects will fall from the sky that will affect the water. Some of those object can actually be collected. By using the waves to move the object towards you, you can use their cool effect, like freezing the sea. Can you defeat all your opponents?

What it's like to play

Crosshairs, targets, and a trigger finger that gets tired before you expect it to. Shooting games here range from fixed-screen target galleries to side-scrolling run-and-gun stages, but the feel is consistent: enemies appear, you react, the score climbs. Pressure builds through numbers rather than complexity. A session is a handful of rounds, each one pushing a bit further before the health bar gives out.

How to play

1Check the start screen for whether the mouse aims or your character moves with the keyboard, since shooters use both styles.
2Aim slightly ahead of moving targets. Most projectiles take a moment to arrive.
3Take cover or retreat when several enemies fire at once; health does not regenerate in most browser shooters.
4Grab weapon or ammo pickups when they drop, especially before a boss or large wave.
