The guide

Overview

Slenderman Must Die: Dead Space is another awesome title from the Slenderman Must Die series. The legend of Slenderman continues and it seems that his terrors and evil will never end. In this episode, you must try and hunt down or escape from Slenderman in an abandoned space station. You must collect different energy cells scattered around the station in order to survive and escape. Look out for the creep villain and use any hi-tech weapon you can find to destroy him.

What it's like to play

Every wave is a question of what to shoot first. Shooting games layer enemies with different speeds, sizes and attack patterns, and the skill is in sorting them under pressure. Early rounds are generous with time. Later rounds are not. Ammo, health and the occasional power-up give you resources to manage alongside your aim. Sessions end when the screen gets too busy, and you restart knowing a little more.

How to play

1Read the controls, then fire a few test shots to learn the range and spread of your weapon.
2Pick off fast, small enemies first. They reach you quickest and are easiest to lose track of.
3Reposition between waves if the game allows movement; standing in the same spot makes you predictable.
4Save bombs or special attacks for emergencies when you are about to take damage.
