The guide

Overview

At Snake Ball 3D its time to test your reflex, as you collect hundreds of balls that will give you extra life and length to easily navigate through an environment full of blocks and obstacles. Are you ready for a unique adventure? In this snake game, you have to collect extra ball to add to your length and either dodge obstacles or face them head on. But remember that when you decide to hit the obstacles, you will lose a number of your balls equal to the number written on that obstacle. So, you always have to try to collect extra balls (which are somehow your extra lives. ) and if necessary, hit the obstacle with the lowest number.

What it's like to play

Open it, tap, and you are in. A casual game does not ask you to read a manual or remember a control scheme. The first stage shows a hand pointing at something; you tap it; a pleasant chime plays. From there each stage adds a small twist. Sessions are easy to begin and easy to end, and both of those things matter more than they sound.

How to play

1Follow the pointing hand or glowing object on the first stage. That is the game teaching you its one core action.
2Tap, click or swipe to interact. If something highlights when you hover or touch it, it probably does something.
3Watch for a target shown at the top of the stage and work toward it in the fewest moves you can manage.
4Use boosters or hints freely. Most stages are designed with them in mind.

Why it's worth a go

It is relaxing in a way few things on a screen are. Snake Ball 3D loads in the browser with no download and no account, it makes no demands, and every few minutes it gives you a small win. For a free game, that is a good trade.
