The guide

Overview

There's never a boring day in the city. Spidey, Spin, and Ghost-Spider have all kinds of new missions to solve, and you get to join them in the Swing into Action game. To save the day, your friends have to swing from the rooftops and successfully complete their tasks. Can you help them on their quest around New York? In this action-packed rooftop adventure, your task is to keep swinging from your webs until you reach your objective. Team up with your buddies, fight the evil foes, collect the missing items, and learn all about teamwork. Just be careful because there are many obstacles in your way, and you have to overcome them. Will you be able to complete this challenge?

What it's like to play

Somewhere between a puzzle and a story sits the adventure game. You are given a world to walk through and a reason to be there. Progress comes from paying attention: a loose brick, a character who mentions a key, a path you missed. The pace is steady rather than frantic, and sessions usually last until you reach a satisfying moment to stop.

How to play

1Move through the first area slowly and interact with everything; doors, drawers, signs and people all respond.
2Pick up any item that can be picked up, then open your inventory to see what you are carrying.
3Try items on locked or broken things nearby. The game will tell you if the combination does nothing.
4Use markers or a map if the game has one to see which areas you have not yet visited.
