The guide

Overview

Dive deep into the ocean in Splashy Sub, a fun and challenging underwater adventure. Control your tiny yellow submarine and navigate through dangerous underwater caves filled with obstacles, mines, and sea creatures. Tap or press the right keys to stay afloat — every move counts. Avoid crashing, collect coins, and survive as long as you can beneath the waves. Easy to play but hard to master, Splashy Sub combines simple controls with addictive arcade action. How far can you go before the ocean swallows you whole? Features: Flappy-style underwater gameplay Simple one-touch or keyboard control

What it's like to play

The loop is simple to describe and hard to put down. Find a problem, search the area, pick up what you can, try things until something works, and move on to the next room, cave or screen. Adventure games thread these loops together with light storytelling, so a session feels like reading a chapter rather than beating a stage. You stop at the next cliffhanger, not the next checkpoint.

How to play

1Watch the opening scene or read the first text box, since it usually tells you what you are looking for.
2Move with the arrow keys or by tapping, and press the action button near anything that glows, sparkles or looks out of place.
3Keep a mental list of things you could not open or reach; they are what your newly found items are for.
4Talk to every character twice. Second conversations often reveal something new.
