Can I play Super Jeep Mega Ramp Driving without a mouse?

Yes. On desktop, racing games almost always use the keyboard. On phones, you steer by tilting or with on-screen buttons.

Is there a way to practice a track?

Some racing games offer a time trial or practice mode without opponents. Otherwise, the first race on a track doubles as a practice run.

Why do I keep spinning out?

The guide

Overview

Do you want to sit in the driver's seat rather than the third-person car camera? You are allowed to collect gold coins while driving to the finish line. You have no choice but to stay on the platform truck and avoid other vehicles.

What it's like to play

Most of a racing game happens in the half second before a corner. Brake too late and you lose two places. Brake too early and the car behind slips past. Everything else, the straights and the boosts and the paint jobs, exists to set up those moments. Races are short and sessions are usually a string of them, with lap times and positions to measure your progress against.

How to play

1Start a race and use the first lap to learn the track layout, especially where the sharpest turns are.
2Steer with arrow keys or tilt, accelerate with the up key or on-screen pedal, and brake lightly before corners.
3Stay to the inside on tight turns and the outside on fast ones; it is the shortest route through most tracks.
4Watch the position indicator and the minimap if there is one, so you know when to push and when to defend.
