Does Super Mario Commander work with touch?

Yes. Most shooting games here let you tap to fire and use an on-screen pad to move. A tablet is more comfortable than a small phone for this genre.

Can I change the difficulty?

Some games offer a setting on the start screen. Others fix the ramp. If it feels too hard, focus on surviving rather than scoring and the pace will click.

Will the game remember my progress?

If it saves stages or scores, it does so in your browser on the device you used. There is no account, so a new device starts over.

The guide

Overview

Super Mario Commander is an attractive action game for you. This game is suitable for those of you who like to fight. In the game, the Aliens have taken over a village. They destroyed the street, trees, and more, some of the inhabitants were killed, and the other half fled. The houses were all burned down. As a superhero, Super Mario cannot be ignored. He decided to carry a gun to help the locals by killing the aliens. These aliens have different shapes, so Super Mario needs to be careful in his actions. That's why Super Mario needs your help. In the game, you help Super Mario fight with the aliens, and you should observe and use the bullets in a reasonable way to destroy the aliens in the best way. There are some special functions such as: freezing or accelerating, and you take full advantage of them. Good luck.

What it's like to play

Aim matters, but so does knowing where to look. Shooting games reward players who watch the whole screen and prioritise. Which enemy is closest, which one is about to fire, which pickup is worth the detour. The trigger is the easy part. Sessions run through waves or stages of mounting pressure, and when they end, usually suddenly, you have a score and a good idea of what to do differently.

How to play

1Learn the fire control and, if there is one, the movement control before the first wave arrives.
2Scan the edges of the screen regularly. New enemies tend to appear there.
3Fire in short bursts at a single target until it drops, then switch. Spraying wastes ammo.
4Use any special weapon or bomb when the screen is crowded, not when it is nearly clear.

Why it's worth a go

Super Mario Commander runs free in the browser, loads in seconds and asks only for your aim. There is no download, no login, and no setup. The rounds are short and the scoring is clear, so you always know whether you are improving from one attempt to the next.
