Tap Defense - Goblin Waves is forgiving and free. It runs in a browser tab with nothing to install, which makes it easy to try and just as easy to drop. The gentle difficulty curve means you keep making progress, and the short stages suit a few idle minutes.

Anyone looking for a calm way to pass time. It fits phone users especially well, and younger children can usually manage the early stages alone. Adults who want to switch off will find it undemanding.

Can I play Tap Defense - Goblin Waves on a phone with one hand?

Generally yes. Casual games are built for tapping and swiping, and the layouts tend to work well in portrait on a phone.
