The guide

Overview

Temple Run 2: Holi Festival is an incredible game with endless running and action in which you have the opportunity to celebrate the "Holi Festival", the most colorful holiday of the year. The game is a continuation of the original second part and it's very cool. You will run through an endless magical environment filled with tunnels, rocks different dangers and traps. Test your reflexes by running through an ancient temple in search of the lost golden idol. Beautiful rainbow waterfalls and fragile multicolored columns await you along the way.

What it's like to play

Nothing about an adventure game is in a hurry. You wander, you notice, you pick up a thing you do not yet understand. Later it makes sense. A session might be twenty minutes of exploring one area or an hour spent crossing several. The story, however light, gives the wandering a purpose, and the small puzzles give the story a rhythm.

How to play

1Check the controls on the start screen, then walk a slow lap of the first area, interacting with everything.
2Open doors, read notes and talk to characters. Clues are often hidden in plain sight in dialogue or signs.
3Collect items freely and try them on anything that looks blocked. Wrong combinations cost nothing.
4If you are stuck, look for a path or exit you have not taken yet. The game usually only blocks what you are not ready for.
