4.3A well-known logical game called XO. It is known also as Tic Tac Toe in the same places. But the goal is the same. You will play on a grid that's 3 squares by 3 squares. You are X, and your friend (or the computer in this case) is O. The first player to get 3 of her marks in a row (up, down, across, or diagonally) is the winner. When all 9 squares are full, the game is over. So, try to make three marks first and win the game. But sometimes the game will finish without a winner. Think before every move you do and have fun.
Every stage hands you a small, self-contained problem with a clean answer somewhere inside it. Matching three, sliding blocks, connecting pipes, rotating tiles; the mechanics change but the feeling is constant. You test an idea, watch it fail, adjust. Later stages layer two or three rules together so the obvious move is usually the wrong one. It is quiet, methodical play.
Short, finishable chunks. A stage of XO Game takes a couple of minutes, which makes it a good match for a wait at the bus stop or the last five minutes of a lunch break. It loads in a tab without an install, so there is nothing to clean up afterwards.
Suits adults who want a calm break and children old enough to read simple instructions. Casual players will find the early stages gentle, and anyone who enjoys sudoku or crosswords should feel at home.
