Does Infinity Golf work on a phone?

Yes. Most sports games here use swipe or tap controls that suit a touchscreen. A tablet gives more room to see the whole field or court.

Not very, and that is deliberate. Browser sports games keep the rules and the spirit but simplify the physics so matches are quick and fun.

Will it save my tournament progress?

Often, in your browser on the same device. Clearing site data or switching devices resets it. There is no account to sync.

What it's like to play

A football match in a browser game lasts about three minutes and still manages to feel like a match. That is the trick of the genre. Sports games compress the real thing into a few essential inputs, keep the rules recognisable, and let the scoreboard do the rest. Sessions are built from short rounds, and the urge to play one more is strong when you have just lost.

How to play

1Pick a team or player if offered, then start a match and spend the first few seconds learning how your athlete moves.
2Use the arrow keys or on-screen pad to position, and the action button or tap to kick, shoot or swing.
3Time your action to the moment the ball or target is in reach; early or late inputs lose power or direction.
4Watch the clock and score, and change your approach when behind rather than repeating what is not working.

Features

Free to play, nothing to install, no account needed
Loads in the browser tab and opens full screen when you press Play
Plays best with the phone turned sideways or on a wider screen
Mouse and keyboard controls, with touch support on most devices

Why it's worth a go

Infinity Golf is competition in a small package. It is free, runs in the browser without a download or account, and a round takes a couple of minutes. Winning feels good, losing is quick to fix, and either way you were only ever one tap from playing.

Who it's for

Suits sports fans of any age and players who like a short competitive burst. It is good for children who are into a particular sport and for adults who want a quick match between tasks.
