4.3Mad shark, is a fascinating and beautiful game in which you have to collect fish, stars, life, great features and various upgrades and destroy submarines, mines, missiles and radioactive barrels.
You start somewhere unfamiliar with a vague goal and not much else. An adventure game fills in the rest as you go: a path that opens when you find the right item, a character who tells you where to look, a platform that was there all along if you had thought to jump. Sessions are built from small discoveries, and the best ones stay with you.
There is a particular pleasure in finally understanding what a place is asking of you, and Requin delivers that without any cost or setup. No download, no account, just a Play button. It suits an evening more than a bus ride, but you can leave and return.
Suits curious players from about ten years old upward, including adults who prefer thinking to twitch reflexes. People who enjoy puzzles with a bit of story attached will get the most from it.
