Most habit apps assume one tick per day. Do Habits lets a goal be logged several times a day, and it also tracks weekly, monthly and yearly targets. It's for building new habits and breaking old ones, and it tells the user when a goal has been met. Streaks count consecutive periods where the goal was hit, and Skip Days and Vacation Mode stop a rest day or a trip from ending one. Each habit can have multiple reminders, its own icon and colour, and a daily journal note. Logging works from an Apple Watch or a Home Screen widget. Data backs up to iCloud or Dropbox and exports as CSV with totals and timestamps. HealthKit integration can feed step counts straight into a steps habit. The free version is capped at three habits; Premium, a subscription, lifts the limit. There's also a passcode lock with Face ID or Touch ID.
Counting more than once a day is what Do Habits does that most trackers don't. Eight glasses of water or three stretching breaks get logged each time they happen, and the app says when the target is met. Weekly, monthly and yearly targets sit alongside daily ones.
Streaks run across whichever period you chose, and Skip Days plus Vacation Mode keep a rest day or a holiday from zeroing them. Each habit gets several reminders, an icon, a colour and a journal note. Check-ins come from the watch or a widget, HealthKit can feed steps in, and backups go to iCloud or Dropbox with CSV export.
Through the day you tap the widget or the watch each time a countable habit happens, and the progress ring fills toward the target. A notification nudges you if the count is behind by mid-afternoon. Steps arrive from HealthKit without any tapping.
Before a trip you flip on Vacation Mode so the streaks survive. At month end, the CSV export with totals and timestamps goes into a spreadsheet for anyone who likes that kind of thing. The free version stops at three habits, which is enough to test the idea and not much more.
The search that lands here is specific: a tracker that handles habits done several times a day, which the once-a-day apps fumble. Streak protection for holidays is the second draw. The 4.0 rating from 10K+ reviewers is the weakest among the habit trackers in this batch, and the three-habit free cap is a plausible reason.
The five screenshots will likely show the habit list with progress rings, a detail view with the counter, the Apple Watch app and the statistics. Trackers of this type use coloured icons per habit on a neutral background, and the multiple-count design suggests circular progress indicators rather than simple checkmarks. The passcode lock screen may feature too.
Version 4.2.1 indicates a fourth major release with a couple of minor updates, so the app has been revised substantially over time. Kodeon, Inc. is the developer. The 4.0 average from 10K+ ratings is a sizeable sample with a middling verdict. The App Store is the only store linked. Nothing in the data shows how recently the last update landed.
Several-times-a-day goals
Water, stretches or practice sessions counted each time they happen.
Holiday streak protection
Vacation Mode and Skip Days keep a record intact through a break.
HealthKit step tracking
Daily steps flow into a habit automatically.
Rated 4+ and free for up to three habits; Premium is a subscription that removes the cap, with the price not on the listing. HealthKit integration needs health data permission, and the Face ID or Touch ID lock is optional. Backups use iCloud or Dropbox, each needing its own account. Logging works offline. Ads aren't mentioned. The Apple Watch features need a watch. There's no Play Store link here.
Our take
A sensible choice if your habits are the countable kind and you'll pay a subscription once three habits isn't enough. Skip it if your routines are once-a-day checkboxes, since simpler and better-rated trackers in this batch handle that for free, or if the 4.0 rating gives you pause.
