Stick War: Legacy is the mobile version of the browser strategy game. You lead the nation of Order in the land of Inamorta, mining gold and building an army of swordsmen, spearmen, archers, mages and Giants, controlling it in formations or taking over any single stickman yourself. Each rival nation (Archidons, Swordwrath, Magikill, Speartons) worships its own weapon, and Order survives by attacking first and taking their technology. Winning a map means destroying the enemy statue and claiming every territory. The classic campaign comes with six bonus levels, Endless Deads is a zombie survival mode counted in nights survived, and Tournament mode pits you against dozens of AI challengers for the Crown of Inamorta. Missions Mode adds new levels every Friday on a saga-style map, with crowns for Normal, Hard and Insane difficulty and game types like Deathmatch and Forward Statue. Skins for every character come with their own perks. Free to download.
The browser-era stick figure strategy game, carried to mobile with everything the original had and more. You command the nation of Order in Inamorta, mining gold and fielding swordsmen, spearmen, archers, mages and Giants. The rival nations each revere a single weapon, and Order's strategy is to strike before they do and steal their technology.
Beyond the campaign with six bonus levels, there's Endless Deads zombie survival, a Tournament for the Crown of Inamorta against dozens of AI challengers, and Missions Mode, which adds fresh levels each Friday on a saga-style map. Character skins come with their own perks.
A map opens with your statue on one side and the enemy's on the other. You set miners to work, build units as gold comes in, and either issue formation orders or take direct control of any single stickman to fight by hand. Victory means toppling the enemy statue and taking the whole map.
Missions Mode gives Friday a fixed appointment, with a crown on offer at each of the Normal, Hard and Insane tiers and variants such as Deathmatch or Forward Statue. Endless Deads is a different rhythm entirely: survive one more night, then another.
Nostalgia for the Flash original drives much of the search traffic, and the 4.8 rating confirms the mobile version didn't squander it. The weekly Friday missions give returning players a reason to stick around. People who enjoy controlling units directly in an RTS, which few mobile games allow, are the other audience.
Black stick figures on hand-drawn backgrounds, with weapons and skins adding the only colour. The side-on battlefield view is unchanged from the browser days, and the saga-style mission map adds a modern touch. Five screenshots are on the page, likely covering the campaign, Endless Deads and the mission map.
A 4.8 rating from more than 10,000 ratings is excellent, and new mission levels every Friday is the clearest evidence of active maintenance anywhere in this batch. The developer appears under a numbered Alberta company name rather than the familiar Max Games branding. Only the App Store is linked on this page.
Flash game nostalgics
The original campaign is here with bonus levels added.
Hands-on RTS fans
Taking direct control of a single unit mid-battle is rare on mobile.
Friday regulars
Weekly missions with three difficulty tiers reward a standing habit.
Rated 12+ and free to download. The listing doesn't mention ads or in-app purchases, but skins with perks suggest a shop of some kind, so assume spending is possible. Weekly missions need a connection to download; campaign play may work offline, though the listing doesn't say.
Account requirements, storage size and regional restrictions aren't stated. The Play Store isn't linked here.
Our take
An easy recommendation for anyone who remembers the browser game or wants a mobile RTS where you can fight alongside your troops. The weekly content is a genuine bonus. Skip it only if stick figure violence doesn't appeal or you want a deeper, slower strategy game with more than one faction to lead.
