AccuWeather's app covers the usual daily and hourly forecasts and then goes deeper on the short term. MinuteCast gives a minute-by-minute precipitation forecast for the next four hours, with start and end times for rain or snow, pinned to a street address or GPS point in 210 countries and territories. Alerts cover hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, high winds, extreme heat and cold, wildfire smoke and poor air quality. Live radar is animated and includes AccuLightning for real-time strike data. RealFeel Temperature combines sunshine, wind, humidity and other factors into a feels-like number, and RealFeel Shade gives the sun-versus-shade difference. Maps show wildfire smoke areas and a localised air quality index. A newer Personalized Experiences section groups forecasts around interests such as school, fall foliage, pets and UV exposure, with more promised. It's free to download.
