About this app

WeatherBug, from xAd, is a general forecast app with a particular emphasis on alerts: severe storms, lightning strikes near you, and pollen. The redesigned version keeps those strengths and adds UV tracking, a Tropical Center and a Precipitation Outlook that estimates when rain or snow will begin and end near you. Forecasts cover current conditions, ten days ahead and more than 140 hours of hourly data, with over 20 interactive map layers. Live radar is available across the US. Spark Lightning Alerts report strikes minute by minute and mile by mile, which matters for golf, pools, hiking and other time outdoors. Lifestyle forecasts relate the weather to trips, workouts, allergies and chronic pain, a Fire Center shows global fire data, and winter alerts cover snowstorms. Short videos from WeatherBug meteorologists explain what the maps are showing. Pollen counts and allergy forecasts round it out, and widgets put your chosen alerts on the Home Screen.
