Clime is a radar-first weather app. It opens on a map where rain, snow and mixed precipitation show as a colour overlay, and the user pans and zooms from there. It's for people who want to watch a storm approach rather than read a summary of it. Map layers include a 24-hour precipitation forecast and a satellite cloud view. Locations can be searched and bookmarked, with alerts for a bookmarked place sent as push notifications. In the US, National Weather Service watches and warnings appear as polygons on the map; tapping one opens the full text. Below the map sit 24-hour and 7-day forecasts with feels-like temperature, pressure, humidity, wind, visibility, dew point and sun times. Radar covers the US, much of Europe, Japan, Australia and parts of Canada and Mexico; NWS alerts are US-only. Premium adds hurricane, lightning and wildfire trackers and a 14-day forecast, and removes the ads.
